About Us

Chirping Spirits is a family-owned child care! Our vision is to support each child's intuitive development by honoring what makes them and others unique. We aspire to guide a child's natural love for learning by providing early life experiences. Our desire for children is for them to see and feel their connection to all living things as they deepen their love for themselves and the world!

Meet Alana,
Founder of Chirping Spirits

As a certified Montessori educator, my time spent in a primary classroom has allowed me to observe children in an environment that supports and meets each developmental stage. I have been blessed by the experience to observe a child's ability to naturally develop and succeed when given the opportunity to thrive and be authentically themselves.

Prior to becoming a Montessori teacher, I received a bachelor's degree in fine arts specializing in photography. Through my love of art, I have seen the multiple benefits art provides for a child's development. At Chirping Spirits, art is a focal point during our day! It lays a beautiful foundation for self expression, communication, and exploration!

As a creative being, nature inspires me! I have observed the same in children! There is an interconnectedness in that children are intuitively aware of. This connection is within them and of them. It is in nature that opens our hearts in respect to all living things and we nurture that in our space!

During my years as an educator, I continued my personal journey and received my 200 hr. YT certification. It has been a gift to be able to share yoga with children at an early age. Yoga and natural movement are instinctively woven within children and at Chirping Spirits we foster movement, encouraging children to freely move.

Chirping Spirits evolved from my love to guide and honor children in who they truly are as they navigate through their world. My years in Montessori, studying art and movement, and finding inspiration in nature, led me to create a program that provides all of these opportunities for children. As a family, we built and designed a space for children to grow, explore and create!
